of course, it's not quite the new year where i am, people have been letting of fireworks since i got here anyway.

i finally arrived in holland,
it's cold here, but there's no snow yet.
there was some in seoul however.

i'm really tired, and i think i'm going to need a nap before i attempt to stay up until midnight for new years.

i'm tired because including flying i didn't sleep for over 50 hours,
the bed in korea was hard.
but i did manage to occupy myself on the flight across europe by writing down russian place names that i found funny:

they're funny because z isn't a vowel.

and i spent four hours looking out my window at clouds, and i had a really big speal about the textures and how they reminded my of zueus' beard and women being tortured and how there where hills and valleys and sheer cliffs and massive fisures and layers that floated aroud completely disjointed from one another, but that's all i can remember from it, which is lucky really because that would have taken a lot of typing and filled my whole page but i took some photos, i would have taken more but the window was dirty and it made it hard to capture.
also people look at me like i'm crazy as it is.

and between today and yesterday i've gotten a new bike, a jacket, house keys, a bike lock, a sim card, i've signed in to leiden and i've set up my room, which i will take photos of tomorrow, and i got one free mickey mouse glove. i'll also make a list of the names of the fireworks we got for tonight becuase they are hillarious!

i also already have a mass of lego men with funny moustaches/facial hair.

Merry Christmas Blogspot,

i'm exsausted,
as per usual.

i don't know what it is about christmas, but i always want to sleep.
i guess it doesn't help that it's BOILING today,
i am so keen for winter.
on which note,
4 days.
Holland here I come.

and my party was bitchin,
people should dress like me more often.
especially Joel.
(just for those not in the know, i had a farewell party where a whole bunch of my friends dressed like me, see photo)
i know, you can't even tell which one's me!

and it was josies birthday the next day,
which was fun, and our song was just AMAZING!
and josie got a multitude of wonderful presents, including a Canon EOS 1000D, oh yes, the exact same as mine!
chrimbo was cool too,
my gifts were well recived ecetera.
i probably wont blog until i'm in Holland,

christmas is three days away but it somehow doesn't really feel awfully jolly round here,
there's my leaving obviously,
but then there's also that Jim Philpot (a really lovely boy from my school) was in a horrific car accident, Britany murphy died today!? and some new zealand comedian has raped a four year odl while drunk,
A 4 YEAR OLD!

I'm sure by wednsday I'll feel better about life, it's my farewell party, and i'll be well distracted on thursday, it Josephines birthday, and there will be much joy by friday, it's christmas, (which will coincedentally mark the one year aniversary of my starting this blog) but right now, on Monday, the world seems to be in the gutter.

i'm of to trial pack my bag, which just arrived in the mail,

i guess for the first time ever i'm finally fufilling a blog promiss,

ok, so the current tottal stands at 13, all of these plus some black opaques which i couldn't be fucked taking a photo of.
but they go roughly in the order in which i got them.

the first 6 are from grey lynn festival,
the 7th is off trade me,
the 8th & 11th are from this is not a love shop
the 9th and the 12th are from my mothers old label Doris de Pont
and the 10th is my dads from the 80's.

yeah, its only MILDLY rediculous.

hello!

today was the last day of my high school career in New Zealand,
i am never going to go back to western springs to learn again.
it gives me a weird gut wrenching feeling in the pit of my stomach,
i don't know that i'm sad per say, it's just a bizzare thought,
it came to early.

but i did get a beautiful graduation present from my parents:

and i saw new moon, it was as amusingly crap as i expected,
and the ticket guy was called Eugene,
i loved him.

i am happy.
my camera finally feels complete.

also today i listen to death from above and avoided doing Media revision by cleaning my room,
which lead to me finding a rather hilarious note from josephine that said

which is sort of josephines weird way of sayin she hopes we're friends forever i think,
anyway, i kept it.

also, next week, when exams are over,

anyway, as of this coming sunday, i will have exactly one month left in New Zealand,

hello.

two days ago it was my birthday,
i'm officially 17!
yay me.

and i got my amazing canon eos 1000D,
but i didn't get an sd card from my brother,
and seeing as he's back to stealing money from my parents i think he may just be lying when he says he has one.
i may invest in one myself,
$10 from dick smith.

so anyway, you have no photos of all the nice things in my life right now because my brother is a dick that wont give me my present!

anyways, back to playing school of wizardry on face book and listening to the new placebo b-sides from battle for the sun,
it really is never ending.

did you know, that exam prep is really really fucking boring, and it makes me want to give up and do fuck all.

to be fair i can almost garantee that i will get a merit for the year if i get ONE merit credit in exams,
but you never know with art boards,
and i'm not doing year thirteen,
so these are the grades that will get me into uni.
i should be going for excellence.

i'm just shit bored of it.

today was fun though,
i went with ziggy and jose while ziggy got a tattoo,
it looked way less painful than i though it would,
and it apparently is way less painful than i thought it would be.
I've decided i'm going to to get this:

hello blog!

today was my last proper day of school.
it feels so, so bizzar to think i wont ever be having proper leason at my school EVER again. ever.
on the upside i'm getting a prize tomorrow, probably for effort but hey, it's a prize.
and i had a really good halloween, it was the first time i havn't trick or treated since i was like 5, but i enjoyed it anyway.
i was a fly.

plus i have already passed the year, and i will most likely get a merit or excellence or merit endorsement, which is good for applying for uni when i get back from holland.
it feels bizzar that i'm going to Holland so soon, less than two months, and i have so much i want to do before then.
i will only have 29 days between end of exams and leaving for holland, like exactly, and i have to make several jumpsuits go, see where the wild things are, make a surrealist movie about corn chips, pack, have a birthday party, an end of exams party, a farewell party, make some shirts, print off a whole bunch of photos for holland, print shirts, watch at least 20 movies, catch up on all the true blood i missed, and sleep.
but that's it, i think.
probabaly not.

i will be busy, to say the least,
and i wanted to have my heart leotard done for proze giving tomorrow, but it probably wont happen.

life is busy, but good.

it is very nearly the end of another school year, my very last at highschool infact =O
oh yes it is a rather nerve wracking time (i've passed the year already, but only with achived endorsement) anyway, awsome, it's nearly over, but also:
AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!

Armageddon is this weekend, seth green's going to be there, but only on suday, which is that day i was planning not to go...
plans might have changes there.
but i'm going to cosplay as part of tetris, it'll be fucking RAD!
and i'm also going to wear a neck ruff and see if anyone thinks i'm an animae character, just for shits and giggles.

i keep wanting to wear black lipstick ALL THE TIME!
except that my black lipstick is plasticky,
and actually i would rather have a really dark green,
or purplely blue, but really both, and mostly green.

today, i get my new camera.
cannon eos 100D.

my parents might try and deprive me of it by hiding it somwhere and making me wait until it's my birthday, but i will be using it regardless.

i've had a very relaxing five days without my parents, but they have been rahter unproductive,
i WILL do some english these holidays.
i did however make smores over a candel in my living room, and i discovered some quite old placebo b-sides that i did not know about previously, I got four thanks to listentoyoutube.com,
which would be my favourite site if it would just bloody work a little more often.

and this coming week i need to start sorting out my dutch passport,
to make my travelling in europe easy.
and i have two photography workshops, which i hope are still happening because my photography teacher was in samoa during the Tsunami last week...
and i need to work on my fucking boards.

i am in a rather good mood because the weather has been nice today,
this morning while i was in bed it was pouring down with rain, which i actually quite like, and it made me very tempted to run outside in spin in circles until i got dizy and fell over, as one does, but i didn't . it clear up i the afternoon though and stayed a nice temperature all day, so it was good. i also found a whole bunch of stuf i really wanna buy on trade me, most of which is brilliantly hideous:


and i am on holiday!
as of friday night, which was very fun, and i discovered that if you are in a car while stoned, 20 km/hour feels REALLY FAST.

also in two days my parents are going to Melbourne for 5 days, and i will be living with my friend Ary and NO BODY ELSE!
which should be good fun, i think i probably wont throw a house party though, to much cleaning up afterwards, plus my neighbour tells my parents about these things.

but wait there's more!
i have finally gotten most of the photos from Wellington from Rhiannon (she's pretty great) and realised that this blog will probably be really shit house, but it is actaully coming now,
and i also discovered two fabulous artists in the past couple of days.
